1992

Having already risen to prominence wearing the uniforms for Perugia and Reggiana, he made his debut in the Serie A among the ranks of Juventus, becoming one of the offensive pillars under Lippi’s coaching starting in 1994. With that team he won a Scudetto, an Italian Cup, a Super Cup and a Champions League.

1995

He made his debut as a starter on the Italy National Team headed by Sacchi, remaining on the team under the guidance of Maldini as well.

1999

After a brief stint at Middlesbrough and Marseille, he joined Lazio with which he earned the second double in his career and the second personal Super Cup.

2005

He concluded his career returning to Perugia and beginning the activity of coaching, starting with the Juventus youth teams and then on the sidelines of Ajaccio and Arsenal Kiev. Over the years, he continued to play for charity with the Juventus Legends and Azzurri Stars selections.
